Meet Our Deputy Sales Manager: Emily

Emily is a happy mother with two children from the US line department.  When asked why she chose this career at first, she told us that the main reason was that she majored in English and foreign trade in college.  Therefore, she decided foreign trade as her career, to apply what she already knew.  Secondly, the foreign trade industry has specific challenges and opportunities.  Life after graduation is full of risks and challenges, so she chose this business without hesitation.

As a salesperson, the customers she contacted also brought her a lot of touching moments.  She shared with us some of the moving moments brought my customers from different stages:

In the first stage, the moving moments were brought to me by guests that I realized years later.  When I first entered the foreign trade industry, I was the assistant to the general manager and was responsible for handling the boss's business.  I still remember that when one the customer representative came to rush the product, I was at a loss.  It was also a hot summer.  I followed up with the situations of the large products in the workshop, and the customer called to ask about the process.  However, my answer left the customers dissatisfied.  She expressed all her frustrations over the phone.  I stood still crying like a child.  Many years later, when I recalled this scene, I was no longer aggrieved and dissatisfied but was moved.  This was because of the telephone call from that customer taught me how to be better at foreign trade and how to be prepared to deal with unknown customers.

In the second stage, I was in CNACC, which was different from the previous industry, so my customers moved me in another way.  One of the clients I was responsible for was to carry out targeted development, two sessions a year.  During this period, I needed to make recommendations based on 10-12 topics.All the preparation is only for the choice of guests for two hours.  Every time I see the guests' satisfactory smile and the result of the sample selection, I am most moved at that moment, not only for myself but also for our whole team.

After a busy day, as a post-80s girl, she like Mr. Lei's song "Borrow 500 years from Heaven." She asked me with a smile, "Isn't it a bit earthy?"Later, she said that there is actually no specific type of music that she likes, but prefers songs that bring positivity, optimism, and cheer.She usually watches movies.  She likes the 007 series, the Spy Film series, and the Mission Impossible series.  She told me that these kinds of films reflect her own personality and it is more sunny and cheerful.  She also likes the Star Master's movies, that kind of nonsense comedy.  She especially likes the line in Xingye's Kung Fu football, "If people live without ideals, what's the difference between them and salty fish?"

Finally, we ended our interview with a firm, "So I can't be a salted fish."
