Time flies! It has been nearly ten years since I arrived at this company in what feels like the blink of an eye. I remember that when I first began this work, I felt both excited and anxious, due to my lack of experience at the time. Since 2014, I have learned the business and have grown from a newcomer to foreign trade to a well-experienced trader in my own right, and can do this work independently and effectively. But with the passage of time and increase in business volume, I've found that both client negotiations and factory communications throughout the day can present endless opportunities for stress and anxiety. However, I've realized that the rich experiences of these stresses and anxieties can be primarily attributed to a lack of inner strength. It was disappointing to admit that I could not adjust my spirit or find a solution to the problem as quickly as I would like. Not being able to achieve my desired outcomes led to a lot of frustration. In other words, I found that it was not that my opponent was too strong, but that my ability was not enough.
"As we grow up, we slowly come to understand that fairy tales can come true… Though one's efforts may not give way to immediate success, giving up will ensure failure." In this world, truly, nothing is impossible. Only by constantly pushing myself forward and building on my inner strength have I come to feel at ease on the road of slaying dragons. As for the anxieties that initially hindered me on my journey, I discovered ways to eliminate them over time: at work, stumbling and learning from my mistakes, and by humbly asking others for their advice. In my spare time, I practice yoga to relieve daily stress. I've found this to be a very effective method, giving me both peace and strength. Watching movies is also an excellent way to decompress. Movies speak to me about different ways of life and help me to become more spiritually enriched.
I have become more and more aware of what I want during my few years at this company. For this, I am incredibly grateful. With my company leaders and my colleagues' help, I've achieved my small personal goals. However, I realize that different opportunities and situations instill new desires and aspirations in all of us. Life moves ever-forward, and there will always be more goals waiting ahead. This knowledge inspires me, and drives me to work harder.
