Meet The head of Design Dept.: Emma

As the head of design department, she has the word “tao” in her name, and her colleagues in the department like to call her Sister Taozi.  Sister Taozi has worked at CNACC for more than ten years.  During this period, she also accomplished many events in her life: she got married, had children, and often traveled during the development of the Canton Fair.

When asked how she balanced work and life, she said, “Work and family can still be arranged reasonably under the normal working rhythm, but when it comes to busy seasons or business trips, family and children are indeed ignored.  I thank my family here, for when I am busy, they are supportive and understanding.  They have helped me share a lot.  When the busy season is over, I try my best to make it up to them and spend more time with them.  After all, family and work are managed well, and life is complete.  Working at CNACC, there are two large-scale developments a year: two Canton Fairs.  Each Canton Fair requires the development of thousands of new products, and of course the development and follow-up of the usual customers.”

As a home product designed, how does she find inspiration for designing new products?  She said that she usually pays attention to the information of various home furnishing industries at home and abroad, paying attention to the development direction of the customers, and also visiting home furnishing exhibitions when she is free.  She is inspired by the years of industry accumulation.  In more than ten years working at CNACC, she said, “The biggest gain is to enhance aesthetics and cultivate and eye for discovering and refining beauty.  Modern people say that IQ and EQ are very important, but American businessman are also very important!”  I feel a little sorry after that ~
