Meet Our Sales Merchandiser: Ivy

Hi, my name is Ivy.  I have worked in factories for ten years.  This experience has greatly helped me to join the foreign trade industry as a professional merchandise because the merchandiser is standing in foreign trade, serving customers, and focusing on the factory.  Therefore, the cooperation of the factory is the most important.  How to communicate with the factory in a friendly and effective manner, and convey the good quality awareness and the customer’s packaging requirements to the factory and implement it in place, is the most basic quality of a merchandiser.

For a merchandiser, each order is like a newborn baby, our merchandiser’s responsibility is like a babysitter, taking care of it’s health and growing up on time, and then handing it over to the owner.  Seemingly simple, the responsibility is enormous.  Especially in the home  decoration industry.  We must constantly follow the trend, innovate and change, and our products will be constantly updated.  At the same time, customers are also making continuous progress, and their requirements for products will change from time to time.  This requires our merchandisers to constantly refresh their own knowledge and have continuous learning and progress.

In addition to communication and continuous learning, the merchandiser must be extremely meticulous and rigorous, and must accurately send the label and box label information to the factory and confirm that it is in place.  Also having a strong sense of quality, and know in advance that the product is in production.  For problems that are easy to occur in the process, we should take the trouble to remind the factory to pay attention to avoid this problem.  We should coordinate the production time of the factory according to the customer’s delivery requirements, arranging inspection, fumigation, booking and shipping, and other matters.
