Meet Our Designer：Lingyu Song

As a craft designer, I have been deeply moved along the way. From the initial love of design to gradually establishing a foothold in this field, every step is full of challenges and gains. 

In the early stage of learning, I often felt confused and overwhelmed by the numerous design theories, software tools, and material knowledge.  However, the persistence and passion in my heart always inspired me to keep moving forward.  I eagerly absorbed all kinds of knowledge, visited factories to understand the process, and strengthened my professional quality by paying attention to many details, and strived to improve my professional competence. 

As my knowledge and skills improved, I began to try practical design projects.  I still remember the nervousness and excitement of designing a product drawing for the first time.  In this process, I learned how to communicate and collaborate, balance creativity and practicality, and complete high-quality designs within limited time and resources. 

But the design journey is not always smooth sailing.  I have also felt frustrated and disappointed with repeatedly modifying requirements, market uncertainty, and technological limitations. However, it is there setbacks that have made me more resilient, taught me to learn from failures and constantly improve my design methods and way of thinking. 

Through continuous exploration and practice, I have gradually clarified my own design style and philosophy. I am committed to combining traditional craftsmanship with modern design to create gift craft products that have both cultural connotations and meet the needs of contemporary life. I believe that good design is not only about the appearance, but also the perfect unity of function and form, which can bring convenience and beauty to people's lives.
