Hello everyone, I'm Chai Ying from the Finance Department. My daily work primarily covers two main areas: cost management and tax rebates.
First, let’s start with cost management. Even people outside of finance can intuitively understand its importance, since we apply this kind of thinking in everyday life. For example, how much did you spend this month? Are there any major appliances you need to buy? Which model offers the best value for the price? These considerations all touch on the cost side of our daily expenses.
As for tax rebates, this is a more specialized area. Some people in foreign trade may have heard of it, but typically only at a surface level. The actual process is quite complex and detailed, heavily dependent on national policy, and requires finance staff to closely monitor and keep up with policy developments at all times.
Finance is a field that requires continuous learning. The annual continuing education requirement for finance professionals highlights its importance. Since joining the company, I have grown from a newcomer with no prior experience in foreign trade finance into a skilled professional. I am truly grateful to the company for the opportunities and support it has provided me.
Going forward, I will continue learning and growing in this field, so that I can perform my responsibilities even better and become a more capable and well-rounded professional.
